On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Mr. S. Gurumurthy graced us with his presence. Mr. Gurumurthy wears many hats as a Chartered Accountant, Columnist, Political and Economic Analyst. Mr. Gurumurthy spoke on “Indian Economy – Feminist in Nature” which highlighted a fascinating perspective on the feministic nature of the Indian economy and the role of women in driving the Indian economy. He emphasised on the participation of women in the Indian economy. In his words, “Women are not just a segment of society but women are inheritors of our civilization”. His insightful learnings were inspiring for all as he shared the importance of empowerment of women as drivers of growth for the country at large.
