Millennium Mams’ is a Kolkata based Non Profit Organisation founded in 1993 by two visionaries – Mr. Bishnu Dhanuka and Mr. Sanjay Bhuwania, with the sole motive of creating financial awareness and literacy amongst women. The organisation has since multiplied manifold and has touched the lives of over 12,000 women, giving them an opportunity to build financial acumen.
The curriculum imparts financial knowledge through the study of current affairs and business dailies, analysis of balance sheets, AGM participation, tracking of global economic trends and plant visits. Since its inception, several enterprising women have become successful entrepreneurs and long–term investors with robust portfolios.
Millennium Mams’ has launched a new module the previous year, Invest In Yourself, which caters to women all over India. This is an online program, spanning over a period of four months wherein participants gain exposure to the financial world through reading the Economic Times. This helps them attain knowledge of business terminology, jargon and acumen. Financial statement analysis is an essential tool that is taught to equip participants to evaluate corporates and thereby help them make investment decisions with better preparation.
Investment Mantras is our flagship programme conducted for more than a decade now, by our mentor Mr. Bishnu Dhanuka. We have members repeatedly enrolling for this programme, year after year, and as they say, each year they learn something new.
This programme teaches you investments, based on the principles of the legendary stock-market guru Mr. Warren Buffett, in a very simplified and understandable manner. This is an online course which enables women across the globe to access it and benefit hugely.
After completion of the one year programme there are fortnightly follow up classes for the members to keep them updated and in tune with their learning. This also gives them the opportunity to interact and create a network with like-minded women. It not only keeps them motivated but also connected.
