Millennium Mams were in luck when two gracious personalities from the financial world agreed to come together at our forum. Mr Ramesh Damani (Ramesh Damani Finance Ltd) and Mr Utpal Sheth (CEO Rare Enterprises Ltd) shared their knowledge to spread awareness about investment markets and financial literacy. Mr Damani shared valuable knowledge about investing from the concepts of timeliness business to dealing with disruptions and the power of compounding. Mr Sheth took a walk down memory lane as he recollected how he and Mr Jhunjhunwala had spotted the multi-bagger stock, Titan. He emphasised that as an investor we should have the vision to seek, courage to buy and patience to hold on to the stock.

The two stalwarts then had an interesting discussion on various topics including the current phase of the market cycle and the key drivers for investments for this year before taking up questions from the enthusiastic audience. Key take-aways from the question and answer round were that we should start investing as early as possible and most importantly we need to stay invested in the stocks long enough to reap the benefits of the power of compounding.
