A greater number of stakeholders, including companies and entrepreneurs, are becoming involved in agriculture, which is on the verge of significant developments.
A reasonable part of this interest comes from a fact that the govt and concerned authorities are more forthcoming about bringing paradigm shift in the sector, so it came as no surprise that the speakers conveyed that Agriculture sector could be at a tipping point.
The role of technology and mechanisation,meaningful involvement of FPOS, models of countries who turned farming more lucrative for farmers by smart procurement are the possible triggers that can, bring down cost of domestic produce and scale up the contribution of exports of agri products.
Argi related manufacturing landscape which has its strategy in place with help of PLI scheme, and more efficient supply chain is also awaiting its turn in terms of ease of regulations and speedy approvals from concerned authorities.
The country and the sector are at a verge of benefitting largely from our cost competitiveness in terms of labour and raw materials while taking serious care of being sustainable.
The interaction was extremely rewarding and enriching for the members whose belief in Agriculture as a sector was reinforced.
