In 2019 the Annual trip took the Millennium Mams to the capital city of Delhi and the financial hub of India, Mumbai.
The first leg of the journey was Delhi where the group visited the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility owned by Maruti at Manesar. They also visited the modern Nestle factory at Samalkha, Haryana.
The second part of the trip was power packed with interactions with leading corporate honchos of India Inc, like Mr. Deepak Parikh, Chairman of HDFC, Mr. Prashant Jain the Chief Investment Officer of HDFC Asset Management. This was followed by a simulating fireside chat with another giant of the Indian industry, Mr. Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the multibillion dollar Mahindra Group. No trip is complete without an interaction with leading lights of the Tata Group. This time the delegation had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Roopa Purshottaman ,the Chief Economist and Head of Policy Advocacy at Tata Sons and Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, the Managing Director and CEO of Indian Hotels. The Mams also hosted ace investor Mr. Ramesh Damani, Mr. Deepak Parikh and Mr. Yatin Shah co-founder and Executive Director of IIFL Wealth Management.
The group concluded the trip with the members attending the AGM of Indian Hotels Company Ltd and posing insightful questions to the board and thus gaining valuable insights into the hospitality sector.
